他大学・外国からセンシング技術活用研究室（天野研）への入学を希望される方向けに説明をまとめます。
連絡は「連絡用フォーム」をご利用いただけます。2日以内に返信しますので、もし返信がなければ再送信していただくか、大学事務局（学務課 大学院係）を通じて連絡をとってください（大学院入試情報・お問い合わせ先）。
2024年2月現在、天野研では修士課程入学および修士課程入学を前提とした研究生を受け入れています。応相談ではありますが、想定される研究テーマはおおよそ以下のような範囲です。
- インフラIoT（社会インフラの点検・監視）
- 農業IoT
- その他の分野へのIoT応用
ここでIoTはセンサーによる計測、計測データの分析（機械学習など）によって実現するものと考えています。
取り組みたい具体的な研究テーマがある場合にはその内容をお知らせください。テーマが研究室の状況に合致しない場合には受け入れは困難なことがあります。
上記の範囲で研究したいが特定の具体的なテーマはない場合にはその範囲（インフラIoT or 農業IoT or その他）をお知らせください。まだ取り組めていない研究テーマが多々あるので大歓迎です。当然こちらではテーマが現状に合致しないことはありません。
連絡用フォーム（あるいは電子メール）での連絡時には上で書いた研究テーマ・範囲と履歴書を送ってください。履歴書は学習履歴と現在の状況がわかるものであれば簡易なものであればよいです。フォームからだとファイル添付できないので、例えばGdriveに置いて共有リンクを送ってもらえればと思います。
事前にメールで最低限の情報交換をした後、受け入れの可否を判断するために2回の面談を行っています。1回目の面談で研究テーマの詳細・計画、天野研での研究方針・進め方など、主要な事柄を相互に確認します。2回目には文献調査報告をしていただき、研究遂行能力（特に調査・理解）があることを確認します。

As of February 2024, Amano Lab is accepting research students who are entering the master’s program and who are preparing to enroll in the master’s program. Although it is negotiable, possible research themes are roughly in the following range.
- Infrastructure IoT (inspection and monitoring of social infrastructure)
- Agriculture IoT
- Application of IoT to other fields
I believe that IoT will be realized through measurements using sensors and analysis of measurement data (machine learning, etc.).
If you have a specific research theme you would like to pursue, please let me know. Acceptance may be difficult if the theme does not match the current state of the laboratory.
If you would like to research within the above scope but do not have a specific specific theme, please let me know the scope (Infrastructure IoT, Agricultural IoT, or others). We welcome applications as there are many research themes that we have not yet tackled. Naturally, in this case, the theme matches the current state of the laboratory.
When contacting me via the contact form (or email), please send me the research topic/scope written above and your resume. A simple resume is fine as long as it shows your study history and current situation. You can’t attach files from a form, so for example, you could put it on Gdrive and send me a shared link.
After exchanging a minimum amount of information via email in advance, I will conduct two interviews to determine whether or not I can accept the application. At the first meeting, we will mutually confirm the main matters, such as the details and plans of the research theme, and the research policy and method of proceeding at Amano Lab. The second time, you will be asked to submit a literature research report, and I will confirm that you have the ability to carry out research (particularly literature research and understanding).
